This is just in my experience, but I highly suspect Chime does have some delayed deposit times from when your employer sends the information, I can't imagine that my employer would somehow just hold the Chime deposit back from the SoFi deposit, especially since I've changed the ratio's, which was the primary, and even had just a fixed amount sent. This paycheck is from a massive company with over 400,000 employees so they probably have most of it automated and the deposit time is probably at the exact same time every other week. Sometimes my Chime deposit is the next day, though only a couple times but it's usually several hours after my SoFi account posts. Banking services provided by The Bancorp Bank or Stride Bank, N.A. Chime is a financial technology company, not a bank. Keep your money safe with security features, overdraft up to 200 fee-free, and get paid early with direct deposit, with no monthly fees.
My SoFi account deposit is almost always consistent within an hour every other Wednesday whereas my Chime deposit varies greatly. Chime is the banking app that has your back.
I've adjusted the ratio several times as well as which bank is the primary bank. I have a biweekly paycheck from one of my jobs split deposited into my Chime account and my SoFi account.
